Guest Posts
Hey! Did you know that UpstartHR accepts guest post submissions? Well, you know it now! If you have something to say, we would love to know about it. Send me an email after you’ve read the guidelines below if you are interested.
Guidelines
- A guest post is simply a post by you that is published here. You send it via email and if it doesn’t suck, I’ll put it up. It’s almost like magic!
- Please attach a short bio with your post to tell about yourself (feel free to add links to your own blog, LinkedIn profile, Twitter account, etc.).
- I have a special place in my heart for students and job seekers looking for a little attention. If you’re in that group, authoring a smart, relevant article is a brilliant move and will pretty much guarantee a slot here.
- This is not a sales pitch. If you’re pushing your products and services directly, you can do it elsewhere.
- Bring something funny, interesting, or newsworthy to the table.
- Posts should fall into the 200-1000 word range. Anything smaller may still rock, but it’s usually hard to grab attention with that short of a post. Anything longer may still rock, but it’s hard to hold attention with that long of a post. If it’s awesome, length really doesn’t matter.
If you have more questions about whether your post will be a good fit for UpstartHR, please shoot me an email. I’d love to give you a shot.
Note: I retain the right to deny publishing of any material that is not suited for this audience. Small edits for clarity may be necessary, but I won’t screw with your message. That’s bad mojo.
