I’ve done my share of talking here, but I’m curious to know more about you and what you expect from the blog. What topics do you enjoy? What would it thrill you for me to cover?

Hmm.. I’d love to hear more about tools to monitor employees or job candidates using social media and the internet.
I am very interested in using sites like linkedin and facebook for recruiting and how to do it good and free.
Hello, I would like to know is there any passes or training I can do to prepare myself for a HR job after I retire from the Army. I will be retiring in 6 years and I also will have my BA in HR management. I am just trying to be prepared as I can be. All the HR jobs I look at require a lot of experience.
Hey, Christopher! First of all, thank you for your military service. My family and I appreciate your efforts.
Secondly, I would encourage you to check out the PHR/SPHR certifications. Either will help to establish a level of credibility for you in the private sector as well as giving you a better grasp of the fundamentals.
The challenge is being able to translate your experience into terms that make sense to HR pros. This post gives more info on that: https://upstarthr.com/how-to-get-into-human-resources/
